Here are some signs to look for:

  • Very loud and heavy snoring often interrupted by silence and then gasps.
  • Falling asleep during the day at work, watching TV, in the car, etc.
  • Loss of energy.
  • Trouble concentrating.
  • Irritability, short temper.
  • Forgetfulness
  • Mood or behavior changes.
  • Anxiety or depressed.
  • Decreased interest in sex.
  • And, the most important sign of all:

  • Very loud and heavy snoring often interrupted by silence and then gasps.
  • Not everyone who has sleep apnea has these symptoms. And, not everyone with these symptoms has sleep apnea. We recommend that you fill out the Sleepiness Questionnaire to find out more.

Remember, diagnosing Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) starts with your physician.
